Wall Heath Tennis Club
Wall Heath Tennis Club is located in Wall Heath, based behind the Community Centre. The Club was formed by residents of the local community in 1972 and continues with the same ethos, which is to provide affordable tennis opportunities to all age groups in the local community. The Club caters for all standards of tennis, whether it is competitive, social or just a means of becoming a little fitter.
Social Play
The club is run by volunteers and is very well attended by both members and non-members, particularly juniors. As well as memberships the club also offers opportunities for players to participate on a pay and play basis. There’s a superb weekly programme on offer with many opportunities to play tennis. In addition to club sessions, courts are easy to book.
Coaching
Head Coach Adrian Hyde offers regular coaching sessions for all ages wishing to improve their tennis skills throughout the year. And in addition to these courses, there are opportunities to book individual or group sessions. During the school holidays there are tennis and multi-sports camps run during the day.
Competitive Tennis
Wall Heath is a successful club running 3 ladies teams, 4 mens teams and 1 mixed team in the Hereford and Worcester League. There are also 3 mens teams and 3 mixed teams in the Kidderminster League. While the club is active in many leagues, it also hosts a number of fun club tournaments each year.
Membership
Come and join this family friendly club, Wall Heath Tennis Club offer memberships for all age groups. If you’re unsure about the club, then there are free taster sessions twice a year. These are a great way to meet members, have a look around and try the courts before joining. Courts are also available to book by non-members on an hourly basis.
