Portsmouth Tennis Academy is dedicated to providing a friendly, professional tennis environment to anybody wanting to improve their game. All ages and abilities have the chance to book courts and coaching sessions. A welcoming, happy, challenging environment awaits you at in the indoor tennis facility.
Social Play
It’s really simple to book a court for your own game and you can do so online. And as courts are available on a pay-and-play basis, you can play as often as you wish.
Coaching
The Academy has a young passionate coaching team led by Head Coach Kevin Baker. Portsmouth Tennis Academy has developed a successful junior programme that helps young players to maximise their full potential.
The junior programme teaches young players from the age of 3 upwards. The PTA programme over the year has helped to develop club, county, regional, national and international juniors.
Also, there are sessions for adults of all standards. No matter what age or ability there is a session for you!
Competitive Tennis
Sadly, there is no competitive action on offer. However, other local clubs do offer a range of league play and internal tournaments. So, if you’re after a challenge, then take a look at other local tennis clubs.
Membership
No membership is required as you simply can book courts online and pay to join a coaching course. So you can really pay and as go while monitoring the cost.
