Newton-le-Willows Tennis Club
Newton-le-Willows Tennis Club has been popular since its commencement in 1882. As a long established tennis club within St Helens, there’s something for both adult and junior.
All standards of players and age group are welcome to meet, socialise and of course, play tennis at the club. So grab your racket, let’s meet on court!
Social Play
Generally, there’s adult social tennis on a Monday (men’s) and Wednesday (mixed) evenings. As well as on a Sunday (ladies) in the Spring/Summer months. In addition, plenty of court slots are available for members to book.
Coaching
The club has an LTA registered Coach who provides coaching for Juniors on a Saturday and there are 3 groups based on age/ability. Sadly no adult coaching is available. However, there are many local tennis clubs who offer a comprehensive range of coaching and so it might be worth looking at your options.
Competitive Tennis
The club competes in the highly competitive Warrington and District Tennis League. And as a result, the club is always on the lookout for new competitive players to join.
