Ipswich Sports Club has excellent sporting, leisure and social facilities situated in a convenient location close to the town centre. Since being established in 1870, the club has developed it’s own sporting and social community.
The club caters for beginners, improvers and elite athletes in Squash, Racketball, Tennis and Hockey. Whether it’s just for a social game with friends, to improve technique or for a tournament. Juniors are welcome in all sports and there are junior programmes and academies which provide a high standard of coaching.

Coaching
There is a wide range of opportunities to develop your game, due to the club’s experienced coaching team. The club’s programme caters for all standards for both Adults and Juniors. The Ipswich Sports Club Tennis Academy offers selected Junior players a full programme of squad training, individual sessions, and competition programmes. The club also offers Wheelchair Tennis.
Competitive Tennis
If you’re looking for more competitive action then there is a range available. The club offers including inter-club doubles matches and internal singles Box Leagues. Also, teams are active in a number of local leagues including Felixstowe, Ipswich and District Floodlit Tennis League.

Ipswich Sports Club offers competitive subscriptions which are fantastic value for money. Discounted are also available for families, students and senior citizens.
Extras
The clubhouse’s bar is a great place to unwind after working out. At the heart of the club is a great programme of social events. These include themed evenings, sporting events, quiz nights, discos and so much more. Members and Non-Members may hire the Club’s Function Room which is ideal for both parties or business meetings.
