Houghton and Wyton Tennis Club
Located between Huntingdon and St.Ives, Houghton and Wyton Tennis Club is a thriving and friendly village club, and currently boasts a membership of over 100 including a lot of juniors. The club plays all year round with two hard courts and a small club hut on the village recreation ground.
Social Play
As members enjoy playing year round, you will never be short of a game or two! And in addition to regular club sessions on Monday, Thursday and Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings in summer, you’re able to use the courts for your own play at all other times. So grab your racket and get on court!
Coaching
The club is planning to reintroduce coaching in the near future. But in the mean time, if coaching is top of your list, you may want to consider other local tennis clubs who offer a range.
Competitive Tennis
While the club does not play in the local leagues there are two club tournaments every year and if you pick your playing partners, it can get pretty competitive!
Membership
Adult, family and junior membership are all available at Houghton and Wyton Tennis Club and fees are very competitive. For example, Adult membership costs less than £1.50 per week. There are no joining fees and no playing experience is required so it’s easy to become a member. So consider joining today!
