Hatch End Lawn Tennis Club
Hatch End Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1925, by two gentlemen, Mr F S Price and Mr H Groslett, decided that Hatch End needed a tennis club. The Club is non-commercial and is managed and run by the members.
Today, the club is friendly and informal and welcomes new members of all ages and standards. The club has a bar which includes a comfortable lounge.
Social Play
Social tennis takes place on Tuesday evenings, Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons. All of these sessions are open to all Full Members.
For Intermediate Members, there are general play sessions on Tuesday mornings and Saturday afternoons. And other club members are also welcome to join these sessions.
Coaching
Sami Shaba is an LTA Level 3 coach with over 11 years experience coaching Adults and Mini tennis. Sami offers weekly classes for all ages and abilities, with the chance to improve and enjoy Tennis. Private coaching is also available. Sami, in the school holidays, runs camps for the juniors.
Competitive Tennis
The club competes in a range of tournaments including Division 9 in the Slazenger Middlesex League, Middlesex Cup and the Kenton Winter Floodlit league.
