Hale Village Tennis Club

Founded in 1921, Hale Village Tennis Club is situated in the centre of Hale. The club has occupied their current location since 1978. The current three red shale tennis courts, pre-dating the Club’s move from Cecil Road.

 

Social Play

The club’s wide and varied membership means there are many of tennis-playing opportunities for beginners and experienced players alike. Whether you’re one of the many children who attend Saturday morning coaching, an adult looking re-joining after a break or a seasoned pro! Hale Village Tennis Club will have an opportunity for you to play and improve!

 

Coaching

Group coaching for both Juniors and Seniors normally takes place during spring/summer. And individual sessions are available. Junior Coaching takes place pretty much all year round.

 

Competitive Tennis

There are 14 senior and junior teams who compete in the local South West Manchester League. This offers all members the chance to take part in competitive tennis against other local tennis clubs.

 

 

Hale Village Tennis Club also offers a vibrant social programme with intra-Club tennis tournaments for both Seniors and Juniors. Along with a series of Junior BBQs during the summer months and other events during the year.

The club offers affordable membership designed to allow people of all ages and abilities to join Hale Village Tennis Club.

 

Extras

Prefer to watch the action? The Club has a big, south-facing deck that is used all year round and is great on a nice summer day!
