Groombridge Tennis Club
Founded in 2000, Groombridge Tennis Club is a friendly village club located in an idyllic setting just outside the village. The members-only club welcomes all standards, whether you are keen to play competitively, socially or are completely new to the game, there is something for everyone.
Social Play
The weekly turn up and play club sessions are always popular and are a great way to stay active and enjoy tennis all year round.
Coaching
The club coaches provide a Saturday junior coaching programme for both mini tennis and older juniors during term time. As well as junior holiday camps during the Easter and summer holidays.
During the week, coaching is available for adults and juniors, both in groups and individually.
Competitive Tennis
There are two teams in the Horam League as well as closed club tournaments, winter and summer box leagues.
Membership
With 6 different types of memberships, Groombridge Tennis Club caters to all. Adult membership, for example, costs under £2 per week and so is affordable. Guests are welcome to come and play, limited to four times a year.
Extras
The club runs a full social programme throughout the year, with at least one main function and a series of other events. These range from tennis competitions to dances, dinners, quiz nights and barbeques.
