Freshford and District Tennis Club
Based just a short drive from Bath, Freshford and District Tennis Club is an excellent community sports club. There’s something for every type of tennis player, from regular club social play to coaching for all ages and abilities. All ages are welcomed. The club has a village feel as most of it’s members are local residents of Freshford and the surrounding villages.
Social Play
Club nights operate on a Tuesday evening and Sunday afternoon, throughout the summer. Open to all ages and abilities, these sessions are a great way to play some tennis, meet other club members and keep fit.
Coaching
The club’s LTA qualified coach, Ron Marshall provides a number of tennis coaching options. These include Mini Tennis lessons, Private and Group lessons, as well as Fitness sessions. Junior members can take part in holiday camps, tournaments and fun events.
Competitive Tennis
Freshford and District Tennis Club competes locally in the Chippenham and District League with both Men and Ladies teams. The club also holds holds 3 American Tournaments each year. All of this provides members with a varied programme of competitive tennis.
Membership
The club offers a number of membership options, all of which are affordable and cater to a wide range of players.
