Farnborough Tennis Club
Farnborough Tennis Club is located in the Locksbottom area of Orpington, on Tugmutton Common, the beautiful park which lies off Starts Hill Road. A friendly and sociable club, which is always open to new members.
Social Play
There are three club sessions each week, where members meet to play doubles matches. These are on Saturday mornings and Monday afternoons (all year round) and Tuesday evenings (April to September). Ladies meet on Friday mornings throughout the year.
Also, members receive a key to the courts and are free to play at any time with other members of the club.
Coaching
The club coach can arrange coaching sessions for groups of both Juniors and Adults. These weekly courses enable you to grow and develop your skills. Private lessons are also available, and are a great option if you want to improve quickly.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of competitive tennis, the club offers an exciting range. In the summer, the club runs a tournament with competition for Men’s, Ladies and Mixed singles and teams. As well as a number of friendly American Tournaments.
Membership
While Farnborough Tennis Club does change a joining fee, it’s a small amount and the fees are just as reasonable. For example, adult members pay £2 per week for membership.
