The club was formed in 1934 and continues to attract players from a wide background and of all abilities. Whether you are beginner, returning after a period of absence or seeking competitive tennis you will be made to feel welcomed.
Social Play
During the season the club is very busy. Ther are club sessions (May to September) on Tuesday and Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons in the summer. As well as ‘Rusty Rackets’ sessions on Sunday afternoons. In the winter (October to April), the club still meets with a range of outdoors, indoors and tennis in the park in partnership with Taunton Vale & Blackbrook

I joined the club in may 2019. I have been made very welcome by everyone at the club. The tennis is really good , the courts well looked after and I have been able to play in a team for the club.
There is an active management team, club sessions on a Tuesday evening, Thursday evening and Saturday afternoons. Members are encouraged to play as often as they can. There is strong social side to the club , and opportunities to engage in volunteering for court preparation , club house repairs. This really is a great opportunity to enjoy your tennis , with like minded individuals and couples.
