Elliswick Lawn Tennis Club is located in a residential area of Harpenden. All are welcome at the club and there’s something for all ages and levels of play.
Social Play
At the heart of club is social tennis. With regular turn up and mix in session throughout the week, members have many opportunities to get on court and play tennis. And of course, you cn book courts for your own games.
Coaching
Employing a full-time head coach, Elliswick can offer coaching sessions of a diverse nature aimed at giving all members opportunities to improve their tennis whether they be aspiring juniors or more mature players who haven’t played for a while.
Competitive Tennis
While social tennis is the backbone of the club, competitive tennis is very serious business! And often teams manage to perform above their fighting weight. In addition to teams in local league, the club runs a number of it’s own competitions each year.
Membership
Due to the overwhelming popularity of Elliswick Tennis Club membership has become oversubscribed. Therefore if you would like to join, you will need to sign the waiting list.
Extras
The attractive clubhouse offers modern facilities, with a lounge and bar, as well as a panoramic view of all seven courts. This space is a superb venue for the club’s busy social calendar.
