Eden Lawn Tennis Club
Eden Lawn Tennis Club is a medium-sized, well run, and family-oriented club, situated idyllically in the heart of Stanwix (Carlisle) overlooking the river Eden. The venue is easily accessible from all sides of the city.
The Club has existed on this site since 1894 and it has always maintained a solid, good-sized, both adult and junior membership from in and around the Carlisle area.
Social Play
As a friendly club, you’ll always find someone to play with. Plus the regular social tennis sessions enable you to meet new people, work your game and keep active.
Coaching
While members are always on hand with tips, Eden Lawn Tennis Club does not offer a coaching programme. So if you want to improve your skills by having some lessons, then you may want to look at other local clubs.
Competitive Tennis
The club is active in local leagues and therefore is always on the look out for more competitive players to join. The club also hosts a few tournaments each year.
Membership
As club run by volunteers, membership fees are low. Also as the caters to all with an active membership across all ages and standard.
Extras
Currently, the club is working towards attaining Clubmark standard.
