East Wavertree Lawn Tennis Club
Located close to the Childwall Fiveways roundabout, East Wavertree Lawn Tennis Club is a busy and thriving Liverpool Tennis Club. As an inclusive club, there’s something available for all ages and standards, all year round.
Social Play
The club’s six modern artificial grass courts are available to members all year round. In the summer tennis season, it’s easy to get on one of the courts and play tennis. In the winter there are a hardy group who continue to play. And so you can enjoy playing tennis all year round. On top of weekly social play, events and barbeques take place regularly during the summer.
There is also a thriving Veterans Tennis group who arrange social tennis on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the main season as part of Merseyside Veterans Tennis Association. The group continues indoor throughout the winter months.
Coaching
Both Adults and Juniors alike can develop their skills at the club. Head Coach, Ian Malabar offers a full coaching programme as well as Junior holiday camps.
Competitive Tennis
As the club fields more teams than any other local club, there’s a wide range of match play available. Seven mens and three ladies teams compete in Liverpool and District Tennis leagues.

The clubhouse has a fully stocked bar and kitchen facilities and is also available for functions throughout the year.
