Dunblane Sports Club
Dunblane Sports Club nestles between the golf club and Ochlochy park and is a thriving hub of activity for all ages. This is where it all started for the boys who are now household names – Jamie and Andy Murray. The club has excellent tennis facilities as well as 2 squash courts. Racketball and table tennis are also available. In terms of tennis, the Dunblane Sports Club offers an exciting year round programme. So grab your racket and let’s get on court!
Social Play
Members meet every day for social tennis during the summer. And while there fewer social sessions available in winter, members still enjoy playing year round. If you have your own partner, then it’s easy to book. Not a member? Courts are available on a pay and play basis.
Coaching
Group coaching sessions for adults and children are available at various times of the year. Individual coaching can also be arranged with one of the club’s coaches. So, if you dream of achieve success like Murray or simply want to improve, then there are a number of options. Also during the school holiday kids can develop their skills at a holiday camp.
Competitive Tennis
While many members enjoy social play, a range of team compete in local leagues. Adult and junior teams compete in the summer, autumn and winter Central District leagues.
Membership
Fees start from just over a £1 per week. Therefore Dunblane Sports Club is highly affordable, especially when you consider what the club offers. New members are able to join online, making it easy to become a member. And a range of memberships are available.
Extras
There’s also many social events which take place each year including ceilidhs, quiz nights, race nights and more. As a non-profit making limited company, Dunblane Sports Club is run by volunteers.
