Denby Dale Tennis Club
Formed in the 1930’s on land owned by the local Church. The club was initially known as Denby Dale Holy Trinity Church Tennis Club, and has since been renamed to Denby Dale Tennis Club. Today members enjoy a fantastic year round programme of tennis.
Social Play
The club holds club sessions on a Friday evening. As well as on Saturday afternoon for Full, Student, U-20 Junior, and Nominated Junior members and their visitors. Outside these sessions, members are free to book courts.
Coaching
Regardless of your age, if yo want to develop your skills, the club offers a range of opportunities. There is Junior coaching on Wednesdays afternoons with adult coaching straight after. The club’s coach is also able to offer private coaching to both age groups.
Competitive Tennis
For the more competitive, teams from the clubs are active in local leagues. These includes the Huddersfield and District Tennis League and others. Plus the club runs it’s own tournaments.
Membership
Since adult membership costs around £2 per week, and there’s a few other options available, joining Denby Dale Tennis Club is affordable and open to all. So if you’re looking to get active and play tennis in Huddersfield, then consider joining the club.
