Establish for more than 40 years, Crawley Down Lawn Tennis Club is a small, friendly club. Located at King George V Playing Field, on Sandy Lane, Crawley Down, the club boasts four excellent courts.
Social Play
Priding itself on its friendly approach and willingness to take players of all ages and ability levels, the Club holds Club Sessions on Sunday afternoon and Thursday mornings all year and on Tuesday evenings during the summer.
Coaching
Club coach, Pippa Lane offers a range of coaching for all ages and abilities. From mini tennis for juniors, to exciting lessons for teenagers as well as adults. So, if you’re looking to improve your skills, then join a coaching course.
Competitive Tennis
Friendly American Tournaments and Club Championships are held each summer with trophies presented to the winners. The Club has a Ladies Team which takes part in the Summer Weald League and a Mixed Doubles Team which takes part in the Winter Weald League.
Membership
New members are welcome to join Crawley Down Lawn Tennis Club at any time. Adult membership costs less than £1 per week and four other options are available. Visitors are welcome to play on the courts with another member a couple of times a year, after which they should join.
