Church Broughton Lawn Tennis Club
Located in the heart of Derbyshire, Church Broughton Lawn Tennis Club is a long established LTA accredited Club. The club has recently upgrade it’s facilities, thanks to a grant from the Sport England Inspired Facilities Fund. The club welcomes new members of all ages and provides a fantastic year round programme.
Social Play
If you just want to play tennis socially then there are three sessions each week, which cater to a more friendly game. Members meet on Tuesday evening, Thursday morning, and Sunday morning. These sessions allow you to simply turn up and mix in with a variety of doubles partners. Non-members are also welcome to attend these sessions in order to experience the club before committing to membership.
Coaching
At the heart of the club is a comprehensive coaching programme for juniors and adults. So, whether you’re experienced players, complete beginners or a little rusty, the coaching team at Church Broughton Lawn Tennis Club will help you improve your game and technique. Juniors also have the chance to join fun holiday camps as well as regular weekly coaching and other fun activities.
Competitive Tennis
If you’re looking for more of a challenge, then the club offers a range of match play. Teams compete locally in both the Derby League and the Burton League. As well as the national Aegon League. There are also a few, purely for fun, club competitions each year, which enable all members to test their skills.
Membership
A variety of membership packages are available and enable adults, juniors and families to join the club. Visitors can also use the Pay and Play system operated by the club. Members’ Guests are £4 per guest per day.
Extras
In addition to family fun days, as a superb community club members often meet for non-tennis social events including BBQs and Quiz nights.
