Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Centre
The Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Centre is located in the glorious surroundings of the Bournemouth Pleasure Gardens. Recently awarded Full Beacon status by the LTA. This publicly-owned facility is now privately managed by The West Hants Club, one of the South Coast’s most successful sports clubs with an outstanding reputation within the tennis world.
The Centre offers a unique opportunity for local residents and visitors alike to experience the joy of playing tennis in Bournemouth all year round. Since the club only has outdoor courts, 3 courts are covered by an airdome in winter. Therefore play continues all year round!
Social Play
Courts are really easy to hire. And since the club does not arrange any social tennis session, you have the freedom to book courts for whenever you need to. So there’s few excuses not to play!
Coaching
An extensive coaching programme is in place. There is a particular emphasis on introducing both adults and children to the fantastic game of tennis.
Competitive Tennis
The club encourage Members to join teams and compete within local and national Leagues. As a result members have access to a wide range of competitive opportunities.
Membership
A range of membership options are available at Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Centre. For those who wish to join, annual household membership is £60. However, if you simply want to play, then you can hire a court from £8 per hour.

Inside the club house you will discover a bar and restaurant. As well as a Pro shop, which also offers a professional racket stringing service.
