Blandford Tennis Club
Blandford Tennis Club was founded in the 1980s and has had a rich history since. Play takes place in the peaceful and picturesque setting of Bryanston School grounds. The club is open to tennis players of all ages and standards.
Social Play
The club meets twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays during the tennis season. Members therefore have plenty of opportunities to play tennis, work on technique and meet with other members. Courts are available outside these session for your own games.
Coaching
As a small community club there are regular group coaching evenings during the season. However, there is no club coach or individual coaching available. If you’re looking for a broader range of coaching, then it may be worth considering other local clubs.
Competitive Tennis
Offering a mix of internal and external competition, Blandford Tennis Club is superb for match play. Teams compete with some success in local league. Club tournaments and championships also provide future competitive options.
Membership
As the club is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, the subscriptions are very low and therefore all are encouraged to join.
Extras
Being a superb community sports club, members enjoy social events away from the courts throughout the year.
