Bearsden Lawn Tennis Club
Founded in 1887, Bearsden Lawn Tennis Club is one of the oldest in the region. Set in a most attractive location near Bearsden Cross, Bearsden is a thriving tennis club, providing excellent facilities for both social and team players.
Initially, it occupied two courts in Ledcameroch Road near Bearsden Station. The club then moved to Jubilee Gardens in 1902, after being given two weeks notice to quit at the end of the 1901 season!
Social Play
The twice weekly Social Tennis are very popular. These sessions allow adults and older junior members to play some tennis, meet other members and improve their game play.
