Ashtead Squash and Tennis Club
Few people realise that Ashtead Squash and Tennis Club exists. It’s a hidden treasure and tucked away in Skinners Lane, the entrance is nearly opposite Highfields. Originally built in 1937, the club has a long, rich history.
Today, Ashtead offers a great opportunity to join a social and friendly club. Squash, Tennis and Racketball are available at the club with superb facilities, excellent coaching and competitive opportunities.
Social Play
If you’re after regular social play, then Ashtead provides. There are sessions every Saturday morning and on Wednesday evenings throughout the year. In summer, social tennis sessions also take place on some Friday evenings. While in winter, a couple of indoor tennis evenings are arranged at St Georges School Tennis Centre.
Coaching
The club has an excellent coaching programme with Cardio Tennis and Junior Coaching both available. If you’re looking to improve your game, then the club also offers individual coaching sessions.
Competitive Tennis
As well as great social tennis, Ashtead Squash and Tennis Club has a great team culture that provides a range of competitive tennis opportunities. In the summer teams play in the Dorking and Leatherhead Tennis League. In addition to league play, there is also an annual tennis competitions which run during weekends in September.
Membership
With a total of 9 different membership classes, Ashtead really does cater to all types of players. You can join as an All Sports Member and get access to all sports. Or you could join as a family, junior or as a social member. However, you could take advantage of the two types of tennis membership, which are available.

Finally, The superb facilities include large bar and lounge area with Sky TV, outdoor picnic area with BBQ and children’s play area.
