Aldersbrook Lawn Tennis Club

Founded in 1904, Aldersbrook Lawn Tennis Club was as a church club attached to St Gabriel’s in Aldersbrook Road. The Club moved to its present site in 1912 where it has been active ever since. Over the year the club has seen great success in many leagues and inter-club competitions as well as encouraging many more to take up the sport.

 

Social Play

With 6 floodlit all weather courts, you’ll be able to play tennis all year round. So whether you want to join in one the club’s social tennis session or book a court for your own game, you have plenty of options.

 

Coaching

The club runs an with an extensive coaching program available to adults and juniors. Both group and private lessons are available. The club has also added a mini red court to help promote junior tennis for the under 8’s.

 

Competitive Tennis

With a number of teams in four leagues, if you’re looking for more match play, there’s plenty available. Teams are active in South West Essex Summer Leagues, Slazenger Essex Summer Leagues and South West Essex Floodlit Leagues. As well as Slazenger Essex Winter Leagues.

 

Membership

There is a large discount for new members, and so you’ll want to join Aldersbrook Lawn Tennis Club! Plus there’s a range of membership options for adults, couples, families, youths and juniors. So the club caters to all ages and requirements.

 

Extras

As part of the club and Waltham Forest College Tennis Partnership, students with severe learning difficulties are having their lives transformed by learning to play tennis at Aldersbrook Lawn Tennis Club in East London.
