Danbury Tennis Club
Danbury Tennis Club has grown from humble beginnings on an old car park, with 2 hard courts, a garden shed for a clubhouse and no toilets, to a friendly, thriving club. Nestling in the delightful National Trust area of Danbury and surrounded by a wonderfully open outlook, it’s an idyllic place to meet friends and enjoy both friendly and highly competitive games of tennis.
The club offers a full programme of social and competitive tennis for both juniors and adults along with access to high quality coaching facilities.
Social Play
Why not come along to a club night? There are two each week on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. You can try the club for free for up to three visits! These social sessions are a great way to meet players of a different standard, work on your game play and have a weekly game to look forward to.
Coaching
Danbury Tennis Club has two Level 4 coaches and two Level 2 coaches. This means whatever you standard is, the club can enable you to grow. In addition to regular group coaching for adults and juniors, private one-on-one lessons are available.
Competitive Tennis
Regardless of your standard, if you like a challenge, the club has a range of fixtures on offer. Whether your a highly competitive tennis player looking to compete in local and national leagues. Or just trying to push yourself to improve by competing a club tournament.
Membership
Danbury Tennis Club does charge a joining fee, which depends on the membership category. However, you welcome to try the club three times before deciding. There are many membership options available and so the club does cater to all types of tennis player.
Extras
There are also regular social events, which are well supported by members both young and old. Also the club sells a range of branded clothing!
