BAWA
BAWA is a members association that has been growing and developing since 1942. A ‘not-for-profit’ organisation offering healthcare and leisure services to members with the aim of promoting good health and well being. Located on a 30 acre site, the club offers a huge range of sports including tennis, football as well as bowling greens.
Social Play
While the club doesn’t an organized programme, courts can be easily book for your own games year round.
Coaching
Unfortunately BAWA doesn’t offer any tennis coaching. However, as Bristol has nearly 40 tennis clubs, if you’re after a coaching programme then it might be best to look at other available options.
Competitive Tennis
As there is no organized programme, there are no competition teams or play. While you could organize your own friendlies, if you’re after serious competitive play then it might be best to look at other local tennis clubs.
Membership
Since BAWA is an association many membership types are available. Adult members starts from around £24 per month. Discounts are available for some local employees. Also, tennis courts are available on a pay and play basis. Tennis rackets are available for hire and balls can also be purchased.
Extras
BAWA hosts premier entertainment acts throughout the year. As well as being available for hire for private events and conferences.
