Croftside Tennis Club
Established in the 1930’s Croftside Tennis Club is a friendly tennis club, which is set in a lovely peaceful location in south Wilmslow. There is a strong family atmosphere at the club and a warm welcome for everyone.
Social Play
There’s regular social mixed tennis, which are open to players of all standards. These are a great way to stay active and meet new people. In the summer, a number of family fun nights happen, which are inclusive for all the family. There are also many other events through the season, which always have a social element to them.
Coaching
Club coach Tom Hunt, runs weekly group coaching and is also available for private lessons. Tom also runs ‘rusty racquets’ coaching, as well as leading the club’s junior section.
Competitive Tennis
With a massive 15 club teams, all of who are active in local and national competitions. So, whatever your standard, there’s a team for you! The club currently competes with 3 men’s teams, 2 ladies teams and 10 junior teams. If you’re not quite at league standard, then try your abilities at the club tournament, which runs from June – September, each year.
Membership
Croftside Tennis Club is always looking to promote the sport and encourage local residents to join the club. And so the club offers affordable rates and a number of membership options. Plus there are discounts available.
