Winton Tennis Club
Established in 1991, Winton Tennis Club is based at Winton Recreation Ground in Fitzharris avenue. About a mile north of Bournemouth town centre. The courts are managed by the West Hants Tennis Club, and in addition to being used by the club, they are also available for public use via the Tennis in the park programme.
Social Play
The club provides 3 adult social playing sessions per week in summer and 2 in winter. Members can also book court time for their own matches outside of these club session.
Coaching
The club offers some coaching which is available in group sessions. These enable you to grow and develop as a tennis player.
Competitive Tennis
Winton has it’s own Box league singles competition which runs all year. In addition 3 club tournaments take place each year and consist of two doubles and one singles. Teams enter the Dorset league and Aegon team tennis league. Therefore the club provides a range of competitive options for every tennis player.
Membership
New members are always welcome at the club and three types of membership are available. Non members are encourage to try a few session before joining as a member.
