Goring Tennis Club
Goring Tennis Club is a wonderful facility set in the glorious countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The club is situated at Sheepcot Recreation Ground just off the Gatehampton Road.
Social Play
Weekly club sessions take place all year round and all are welcome. So regardless of your standard, if you want to get on court more, you have plenty of opportunities.
Coaching
There is a comprehensive coaching scheme available for those wishing to improve, or simply brush up their skills. Goring Tennis Club also has a thriving Junior section.
Competitive Tennis
The club participates in a number of Inter-Club Leagues. In the summer teams compete in both Newbury and Oxfordshire Leagues. Doubles. In the winter the club competes in two Oxfordshire (floodlit) Leagues and in the Thames Valley Leagues.
The Club also runs regular American Tournaments and a Championship Competition.
Membership
If you’re looking to join Goring Tennis Club, then you’re welcome to visit the club during a few social tennis sessions. By doing this, you can experience the club first hand. Then when you’re ready to join, Goring Tennis Club offers a range of membership packages.
