Brooke and District Tennis Club
Founded in 1938, Brooke and District Tennis Club is a well-established sports club, which is located near Norwich. The club is situated on land gifted to the village by the Mackintosh family. All are welcome and there’s something for all ages and all abilities.
Social Play
If you’re looking for a range of social tennis, then there are club sessions on Wednesdays morning and evening. In addition to the two sessions on Wednesdays, there are also playing opportunity on Sunday mornings.
Coaching
LTA qualified coach, Mark Greenhall runs a popular junior section on Thursdays. As well as junior tournaments and camps during the school holidays.
Mark also runs a group on a Friday morning, for people new to tennis or wanting to get back into tennis after a long gap. Mark is also available for private lessons from club members.
Competitive Tennis
For those who enjoy a more competitve game, then 2 men’s and 2 ladies’ teams compete in the Norwich City League. And so the club is always on the look out for more competitive tennis players.
Membership
There are a few, attractively priced membership options on offer at Brooke and District Tennis Club. The club which has doubled its membership over recent years tries to keep fees low to encourage all to join.
