Beckfoot and Bingley Tennis Club
Beckfoot Tennis Club was established in 1946 and merged with Bingley Tennis Club (formerly Bailey Hills) in 2013. Celebrating 70 years old and still going strong, enjoying friendly and competitive tennis. The club always welcome new members of all ages and ability.
Social Play
There is social tennis on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. As well as club social events on several Sundays throughout the Summer. Members are of all abilities are welcome, from beginners to good club standard. And so these sessions are designed to accommodate all levels and types of players.
Coaching
While the club doesn’t provide a coaching programme, members are always willing to advise to how to improve. If coaching is top of your list, then it might be best to consider other local clubs.
Competitive Tennis
In terms of competitive tennis, the club holds regular tournaments and also competes in local leagues. Several mixed, ladies and mens teams compete in the Bradford Parks League, Bradford Friendly League and Wharfedale Leagues. Members therefore have access to a full range of match play across the year.
Membership
Beckfoot and Bingley Tennis Club strives to keep membership fees to a minimum. There are also great discounts for families. Guests are welcome up to three times before being asked to join.
