The Baseline Tennis Centre
The Baseline Tennis Centre was opened in September 2010 by Greg Rusedski and the Chief Executive Officer of the Lawn Tennis Association, Roger Draper. The first ball ever hit on court at the Baseline was done so by Greg Rusedski. Both the racquet and the ball can be found on display in the centre.
The centre is a result of a partnership between Stafford Manor High School and the Lawn Tennis Association. The Baseline is a Lawn Tennis Association Clubmark venue and a Beacon site.
Social Play
With both indoor and outdoor courts, you can play tennis all year round, regardless of the weather! So, gather some mates and get on court!
Coaching
The club offers a full coaching programme and offer facilities both for Members and Pay & Play customers. County Tennis Competitions, Junior Competitions, schools events, University tennis and coaching courses are all hosted at the centre.
Baseline Coaches, all LTA qualified, can offer both individual and small group coaching.
Competitive Tennis
There are no competition teams at the club. And while you could organize your own friendlies, if you’re after serious competitive play then it might be best to look at other local tennis clubs.
Membership
Membership of Baseline Tennis Centre offers a host of benefits over the pay and play options. Also, visitors are always very welcome.
Extras
Also, a full Racquet Stringing and Re-Gripping Service is available and is accessible to non-members at full price and to members at a discounted price.
