Blundellsands Tennis Club
Blundellsands Tennis Club has a long tradition of playing at the Key Park in Liverpool. This rich history dates back to when the original park and clubhouse were established in the 1880’s. The club holds Tennismark accreditation which is the highest quality standard for tennis clubs. Today, Blundellsands provides social and competitive Tennis for all ages and standards.
Social Play
While you can book a court for your own game, you’ll enjoy joining in at the two weekly social sessions. These events are superb for meeting new people, playing tennis and staying active. There’s also a weekly junior social tennis on Friday evenings.
Coaching
If you aim to improve your game then coaching is available for players of all ages and standards. The club’s coach is an LTA Level 4 performance coach and so you’re in very capable hands. Junior tennis is at the heart of the club and strong links exist between the club and many local schools.
Competitive Tennis
A number of teams compete in the Liverpool and Southport and District leagues. Some teams include very successful junior players too.
Membership
New members of any age and standard are always welcome and no previous playing experience is necessary. To encourage new members, Blundellsands Tennis Club offers a discount on the first year’s fees. Of course, there’s a range of membership options available and fees can be paid monthly.
