Charnwood Lawn Tennis Club is an active friendly club situated in Loughborough on Nanpantan sports ground with opportunities for all players. As an inclusive sports club, there’s always something going on for all ages and abilities.
Social Play
Each week is packed full of social tennis sessions, with at least one per day. So you can play tennis all year round, regardless of how busy your life is. There’s also plenty of court time available for members to use throughout the week. You’ll enjoy the range of tennis available, no matter your age or standard.
Coaching
GSM Leisure organise the coaching team at Charnwood Tennis Club. For adults, the team offers runs numerous daytime sessions catering for all standards as well as an evening class on Mondays and Wednesdays for members and non-members. Private lessons are also available. Juniors have access to an equally superb coaching programme which includes beginners and mini-tennis to performance tournament players. No matter your age, if you’re looking to improve Matt Wilford and his GSM team are available to help.
Competitive Tennis
With a large number of active teams, the competitive spirit is alive and well at Charnwood. 7 ladies, 4 mens, and 3 mixed teams compete within the Leicestershire Leagues. There’s also Vets and Super vets teams. As well as ladies and men’s teams in the AEGON league. A team competes in the Mercury cup. As you can see, there are lots of opportunities for those who want to play a more competitive game.
Membership
Whether you want to play all year, in just the winter or summer, Charnwood Lawn Tennis Club offers a range of membership packages for all ages and situations. Full adult membership costs just over £3 per week.
