Thorncliffe Tennis Club
Thorncliffe Tennis Club is based in the north of Sheffield and is open to players of all ages and abilities. So if you’re looking for a new tennis club in Sheffield, then consider Thorncliffe.
Social Play
During summer club night is Monday night and adults and over 15’s are able to play social tennis. Friday night is another social night where anyone is able to turn up and have a game. During the winter period, Saturday becomes the main day when social tennis takes place.
However, members are allowed to use the courts whenever there is no club matches or coaching that is taking place.
Coaching
Sadly, there is no coaching on offer at the club. however, there’s plenty of options locally, so you may want to consider other clubs if coaching is at the top of your list.
Competitive Tennis
The club has a number of teams within both the Sheffield & District Leagues and the Yorkshire League. The club has men’s, ladies, mixed and junior teams in a variety of leagues, which enables players of all abilities to be involved in playing regular league tennis.
